Hockey Mom?!?!

Some of you might find this hard to believe, but I have become a hockey Mom.  You know - those crazy women you see at hockey games that never sit down during the game because they are following their children around the ice.  The one's that can't carry on a conversation because their eyes never leave the ice? 

Yep - that's me....

Gonna be a Good Day!

So, I work from home - which is FABULOUS!  Although, it can also be a curse.  There are many a day when I don't get out of my pajamas, except to put a fresh pair on before bed that night.  You know it is bad when the big kid says "Mama, you look beautiful" when you are wearing jeans and a T-shirt!

Anyway - today is going to be a good - productive day.  Why, you ask?  I actually got a shower in before coming to work! 

I know - doesn't sound like much, but to a busy Mom living in a crazy house with boys - that is all I need to make it a great day ;)

Picky Eater

I have a picky eater.  My little one will not eat anything except brown sugar oatmeal.

He asks for this morning, noon and night and when I refuse, a tantrum ensues.  This is very bizarre to me, as my big kid would eat anything.  He ate hummus, curry, "chicken and fries" - no questions asked.  Not little one.  Oatmeal.  Only oatmeal.  Sometimes 3 bowls for breakfast.

  

Here he is, asking for more.  How can you say no to this?

20 pounds!

I did it! 
20 pounds are gone!  So excited. 

And how did I celebrate?  Burger King with Isaac and Noah ;0
